The Beginning Part 1

The Best Animated Masters
Masters of the Universe has been an enduring, fantasy franchises since it premiered as a toy line in the 80's. Speaking of which, be aware that this is NOT the 80's television series; it's a reboot that ran on Cartoon Network from '02 - '04 featuring some sweet animation (see pic at the top of this page), pretty interesting story-arcs composed of typically exciting episodes, lots and lots of characters from the MOTU universe including a few new ones, and just some all-around great voice-acting (including Christopher Judge as Zodac in season 2) not to mention some legitimately humorous dialogue and gags. I'm guessing that this version, which is decidedly more mature than the original but still great for kids, was probably influential in the DC New 52 comic reboot and in my opinion is just all-around better than the 80's series.

MOTU is currently enjoying a renaissance with an amazing toy line from Mattel (mattycollector.com) and an excellent comic from DC so who knows...
