Crinoline Head

Bring back the 80's horror!
I saw this movie back in 2000 when I read about it in Fangoria and I am so glad it's finally out on DVD! If you like the old horror movies like Sleepaway Camp then you will like this one. Is it the best movie ever? No, but movies like this are not supposed to be. I enjoyed the John Waters like humor mixed with the Friday the 13th type story. It's amazing what you can do with no budget and good acting. I can't wait for part 2!!

Group of friends go to lake house for the weekend and one by one killed of in funny ways by crinoline head.yes it's low budget but its a good one one of those where you want to see some of the characters die..love the girl who gets killed in the toilet..wish they would make a part 2

a very imaginative parody
I really really enjoyed this film that i found out about from an earlier Fangoria article, It is a great play on the whole 80'steen lake-cabin slasher flicks. Very original "offings", especially the toilet scene! Also a John Waters-like atmosphere, almost, is very abundant. Very enjoyable film, if you dont over-analyze it or take it too seriously.
